The client has advised us that the people there have not been affected by the events in mainland Japan.


We require certified SharePoint expertise for development of SharePoint services to increase our current support to II MEF and must have a Secret or higher security clearance.


The SharePoint developer will have expert level knowledge in Windows operating systems (i.e. XP and 2003), Microsoft products and environments (i.e. Office suite, Microsoft Visual Studio, .NET, and SharePoint), Windows Workflow Foundation (WWF), SharePoint Framework, SQL Server, PKI certificate authentication, and upgrades to Network Operating Systems.  An appropriate qualification for the developer position is the Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer (MCSD).


The developer will be proficient in programming in C#, XML/HTML, XSL, CAML, ASP.net, CSS, Javascript, and J#. They will have experience installing, configuring, maintaining, and upgrading SharePoint WSS 3.0 and MOSS 2007.  It is desired that they also have deployed military experience extending or displacing services to remote tactical locations, and an understanding of Marine Corps C4I systems, such as C2PC, IOS/IOW, mIRC, Adobe Connect, AFATDS, TCO, BFT, and others with web-based technology. They will perform hardware and software maintenance, interface with users to troubleshoot SharePoint Services problems, and consult with customers to identify SharePoint requirements. They must have a working proficiency with Information Assurance as it relates to the SharePoint technologies, IIS 6.0 or higher, management of Active Directory and Exchange, and Virtual Machine (VM) configuration and operation. The SharePoint Developer must be able to develop tools and procedures that assist with the maintenance and preservation of the web content and the SQL database, and able to understand user requirements and develop effective solutions for them as required.
