POSITION SUMMARY:
The role of the professional Registered Nurse (RN) reflects the values and priorities of the nursing profession. The RN is proactive member of the multidisciplinary team that provides patient care. The RN recognizes that the role requires both clinical knowledge and the ability to provide comfort.
To provide professional nursing care utilizing the nursing process and maintaining compliance with the Florida Nurse Practice Act. The provision of this care is to be conducted in a collaborative manner with all members of the healthcare team in order to deliver quality care and the best possible patient outcome.
Qualifications:
• Associate Degree, Diploma in Nursing, or BSN required
• RN License required
• BLS required at hire
• Minimum 2 years RN experience preferred.
• Minimum 1 year ICU experience required
• Reads and writes Basic English with the basic skills necessary to transcribe physician's orders
• Knowledge of body substance isolation
• Ability to listen, empathize and respond to patient, family, internal and external customers needs
• Basic computer skills
