The Nursing Director is the leader for the Medical/Surgical Unit. Responsible for the patient population and assigned nursing and ancillary staff. Plans, organizes, directs, coordinates, and evaluates the activities that take place on the unit. Provide direction, support, and guidance to nurses and other staff. Twenty-four hour accountability for the unit. This Director will report to the Chief Nursing Officer and also be part of the Administrative team on decision making for the program.

Job Requirements:
Graduate from an accredited school of nursing (BS required, master's degree in nursing preferred)

4-6 years clinical experience in specified unit to be directed, preferred

Experience in Quality Improvement

Self-directed
Must possess excellent interpersonal, time-management, and problem solving skills

Job Schedule:
Daytime shift 8-5; flexibility with scheduling if needed

Salary:
$61 to $91K per year (based on experience)

Relocation:
Yes, Negotiable and generous based on need

Additional Comments:
24 hour accountability for the Medical/Surgical department
