Certifications: No Name Description: This position is for the Vail Valley Surgery Center. ONLY CERTIFIED OR TECHS WITH VERY STRONG ORTHOPEDIC BACKGROUNDS WILL BE CONSIDERED. MINIMUM 4-5 YEARS OF ORTHOPEDIC EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED. Operating Room Techs needed to assist with the nursing care of the patient in the operating rooms at Vail Valley Surgery Center. Duties include- but are not exclusive of stocking- replenishing and preparation of surgical supplies- instruments- and equipment. Functions as a member of the surgical team by assisting and anticipating needs of the surgeon. Maintains current education in aseptic technique- routine operating room procedures- and all other duties as assigned. Completion of Operating Room Technician (CST) course is required. Preferred certification from ASTI (Association of Surgical Technologists- Inc.) BLS certificate required. HS Diploma or equiv is required. Please submit a skills checklist and at least 2 references with any submissions.br Shared housing is provided. Private housing is not available...the environment here is one where people interact and we encourage that. We cannot accommodate families- significant others- pets- etc. All housing is located in close proximity to shopping- dining and public transportation. We do not have our own employee housing location- but rent various units from condo owners and apartment complexes in the area.
