JOB SUMMARY
Under the direction of the TMHPO Finance Manager, the accountant will manage and reconcile TMHPO's bank accounts on a daily basis to each subsidiary system. This includes looking at bank / EFT deposits and reconciling to what is posted in each subsidiary system. Weekly / Monthly reports will be given to % of deposit batches and % of cash that has been reconciled in each bank account.
The Accountant will also be responsible for various monthly closing duties, which include journal entry preparation, account analysis, financial statement preparation, budget preparation, executive management report preparation and distribution. The Accountant will manage physician bonus payouts (accruals and payouts), the physician contract database and various projects on a monthly basis.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree with a major in Accounting or Finance required.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Two or more years accounting experience directly related to accounting or finance.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES AND REGISTRATIONS REQUIRED
Professional certification preferred (i.e.; CPA, CIA, etc.)
SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED
Must have a working knowledge of general software applications. Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications (i.e., word, excel, access, etc). Must possess good verbal and written communication skills. |
