Dr. Susan Tout, Medical Director, Southwest General Health Center ED and Clinical Director of Physician Recruitment and Allocation at TeamHealth Midwest joins host Tim Rush to discuss the current trend of clinical outsourcing and facilities management and how these trends affect you, the healthcare professional.

Tim Rush founded Healthcare Staffing Innovations (HSI) out of his passion for developing web-based solutions for staffing the healthcare industry. He established their advanced practice division and developed AdvancedPracticeJobs.com (the precursor to the entire HealthJobsNationwide.com network), a niche job board dedicated to the employment of advanced practice nurses, nurse managers and physician assistants.Mr. Rush holds a bachelor's degree in fine arts from Shorter College in Rome, Georgia, and completed the Georgia Tech Mid-Management Program at Dupree College of Management in April of 2000. He is currently an active member of the International Association of Employment Job Boards, a corporate member of Staffing Industry Analysts. He is a member of the Georgia Association of Personnel Services "Million Dollar Hall of Fame." Other honors and awards he has received while working in healthcare staffing include the Unsung Hero Award, the High Flyer Award, the Peak Performer Award, the Top Producer Award, the 300K Award and the 200K Award.Mr. Rush resides in Woodstock, Georgia, with his family.
Dr. Susan Tout is the medical director of emergency services at Southwest General Health Center in Middleburg Heights, Ohio. She is also clinical director of physician recruitment and allocation at the administrative and staffing services company TeamHealth Midwest.Dr. Tout received her MD from West Virginia University School of Medicine and completed her residency at Akron General Medical Center in Akron, Ohio. She is board-certified in emergency medicine.
